Rumor has it that Miss Sophia, the drag queen comedian of Atlanta might be returning to radio. Miss Sophia (Joe Taylor) was one of the voices for several years on the juggernaut radio station V-103 with her own segment title “Girl Talk… When I Talk, You Talk, We Talk That’s Girl Talk…” Sophia’s segment aired on the station’s morning show “Frank-Ski And Wanda In The Morning” before they handed her her walking papers. No official word ever came from Vee on why her contract was never renewed and to my knowledge Miss Sophia never addressed her leaving the station publicly. Rumor has it that there was discourse between Miss Sophia and Frank-Ski but of course this is all just rumor and speculation.

Miss Sophia recently posted on her facebook page that she is returning to radio and would provide additional information at a later date. The response from her fans both gay and straight has been phenomenal and clearly means that she has been missed from the airwaves.

A Georgia student is on a ten day suspension and facing criminal charges for disrupting school while wearing an ugly purple printed skirt.

17 year old Eric Bivens was suspended from school pending tribunal for defying school personnel and not wearing a skirt said the principle of Douglas County Coffee County High School… child bullshit!

Eric tells different story:

“He was all like come with me sir and I am like what did I do wrong, I am in dress code, I checked and he is all like we need to make sure you can wear this because it is nerd day not cross dress day,” says Bivens.

“Last Thursday we had a spirit day where students were dressing up as nerd or geeks for an upcoming football game,” says Dr. Greg Tanner, Coffee High School Principal.

Bivens changed his clothes, but went to the principal for an explanation.

“He was like girls get to dress like guys because it is acceptable in society but it is not acceptable for me to dress like a girl,” says Bivens.

Authorities are saying this is not the first incident / run-in they have had with Eric. Apparently Eric is somewhat of a trouble maker at the school and this last incident is what broke the camel’s back.
