Remember a couple of weeks when we were all glued to our tv sets watching VH-1 Divas and laying them out because we thought the show was clearly lacking something. Well honey, it was. R&B artist and auntie in my head, Anita Baker took to twitter to let us know exactly what was missing… Rehearsals.

Anita was set do to do a duet with my other favorite female artist of all time Miss Jill Scott and apparently (according to Anita) someone didn’t feel like there was a need to rehearse according to Anita’s tweets because it was about who was singing and not the song itself. I totally disagree. I feel like its about both song and performer; they go hand in hand.
